Hi there!
We started out selling via eBay from our home in Adelaide, South Australia in 2003.
Beads quickly began to take over our home and our lives and we opened our own web store in September 2005.
Following a rather problematic beginning, we then transferred in May 2006 to our current site, Hosted by Gate 13.
For our first Birthday with our new site we have moved to the sunny climes of Queensland and hope to settle here.
We stock unique, quality glass beads, mainly from
the Czech Republic, and China.
We hope to extend our range of Miyuki beads now we have more room to move and set up our stock.
Most of the Miyukis are sold as "mixes" to enable you to purchase a
great colour range in just one lot.
Also in stock are some of the more unusual beads from around the world.
To keep our stock dynamic and exciting, we buy most of the
lines in small quantities only.
The more popular shapes such as Bi-Cones and Rounds will always be
available, but the colours may come and go very quickly from stock.
Many styles will be available for a short time only, and in a limited
quantity.
The beads you see today, may not be there tomorrow.
We currently try to service mainly Australian customers, but we will
ship world wide.
A small portion of our range, waiting to be ordered and delivered to your door.
When our orders arrive from overseas, we photograph the items,
then bag and lable each lot for ease of identification.
They are then hung, safe from bumping and possible damage, waiting
until we receive your order.
We hope this makes things easier for you when your order arrives.
Any items that you believe have been mis represented or are not of the
quality you expect, will be replaced.
Where it all started.
We started selling beads as a hobby on eBay. and
to get rid of excess beads I had purchased for embelishing needle work
and cross stitch.
This grew rapidly over three years and we found that we needed
an outlet that was more managable and could better meet our needs.
Hence the birth of "HANGING BY A THREAD"
in September 2005.
We will continue with sales and auctions on eBay, but they will
be our clearance items and old stock.
eBay will also introduce and assist new customers
to find On-Line store.
